Andrew Poss is a High School varsity starter at Shortstop and Pitcher. Multi-sport athlete and HS letter winner in baseball (varsity starter since 9th grade), basketball (varsity starter since 10th grade) and football (varsity starter since 10th grade). HS baseball team defeated 2-time State Champion at Regionals to advance to State tournament.
Andrew also played SS/3B and Pitcher with Edge Baseball Academy in Wisconsin and 316 Elite Diamond Kings baseball team in Kansas. He is now on the new Wichita Wildcats select travel team. He started playing in baseball leagues at age 5 years old with his dad as a coach and has been on select travel teams for the past 9 years. He played up in age/year group for many club seasons including spring, summer and fall leagues.
Andrew has tremendous leadership skills as an Eagle Scout and outstanding scholarship abilities with a 3.9 GPA as an Honor Roll student taking AP classes.
His father is a retired Army Colonel, and mother was an elementary teacher. Andrew has lived all over the country and gained grit with determination from resiliency as a military kid. He is the youngest of 4 athletic sons in the family.
Andrew is a scholar/athlete/leader who is also a church and community service volunteer. Wherever located, he was enrolled in the best local and regional year-round baseball training programs. He has a strong character and work ethic. Andrew is very coachable and a terrific teammate.
