Hello Coaches,
My name is Camdon Higbee, and I am a 5’11”, 190-pound outside linebacker and quarterback for the Ka’u Trojans, a small Division II school located on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Academic Achievements:
Throughout my high school career, I have been recognized for my dedication to academics. As a freshman, I won the Martin Luther King Jr. Poem Award, standing out among over 1,000 student entries. In my sophomore year, I was inducted into my school’s National Honor Society, an honor reserved for the top 25 students who demonstrate excellence in grades, attitude, and leadership.
Athletic Achievements:
I have been passionate about football since I was seven years old. I began playing varsity football as a freshman, earning a starting position as a defensive lineman midway through the season—even though I weighed only 145 pounds at the time. My hard work paid off when I was named Freshman of the Year by my team, chosen from among 17 freshmen. Although my sophomore season was cut short due to a broken collarbone, I managed to record 17 tackles in just one and a half games as an outside linebacker. Now, as a junior, I am the starting quarterback and outside linebacker, and I have accumulated 45 tackles in my last four games.
Fun Fact:
When I’m not watching film, thinking about football, or working out, I love to surf. Surfing gives me a chance to relax and recharge away from the field.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
