Hi my name is Chesney Howard! Im from Fairview, Utah, where I have lived my whole life as a farm girl. I am a “A” student and part of my school’s Honors society. I am not just an athlete, but also a musician. I play in our school’s Jazz band as lead Tenor saxophonist, and Concert band as the Bassoonist. I have always enjoyed playing sports and have been playing all sorts of sports since I was around 5 years old. As I have gotten older I have found that I really enjoy playing soccer and swimming competitively. My freshman year of high school I went with our state roster as a backup goalkeeper for our tournament, and as a sophomore I played a few games as the Varsity goalkeeper. Now just finished my Junior season as the Varsity goalkeeper and had over 180 saves this season. Not only do I keep up with soccer during the winter, but I swim as the team’s backstroker. I have been swimming for a couple of years now, and my freshman year I went and competed at state in backstroke. Last season I went to state again for backstroke but also for the 200 IM. I placed in the top 15 for backstroke which qualified me for the second day of state. I have always found fun in sports and enjoy pushing myself to be better. A fun fact about me would be that I love horses, specifically my horse, Boone.
