Hello! I am Delainey Kirchner, class of 2029. I was a competitive gymnast for nearly 12 years before shifting my focus to volleyball exclusively. I enjoy keeping active and working on my skills. I have played volleyball for school and recreational leagues for about five years. As a 14-year-old, in my first year of club volleyball, I was placed on the 15s team. Over the season, as an outside hitter, 89% of my hits resulted in a kill, and my teammates chose me as the season MVP.
I work hard to excel academically and have earned Student of the Month honors every year since kindergarten and have also received an Academic Excellence Award each trimester for maintaining exceptional grades. I am a member of the Student Council, and I play flute in the school band and sing in the choir.
I enjoy being creative, baking, vegetable gardening, and taking care of my dog, two cats, two parakeets, and guinea pig.
