My name is Eva Cannon (Class of 2028) and student-athlete at The Hun School of Princeton in Princeton, New Jersey. I am currently the floor captain for my high school varsity team and am an Outside Hitter and Opposite/Right Side for both The Hun School Varsity Team and the Princeton Volleyball Club 17-1 Black National Team.
I bring strong athleticism, versatility, and court awareness to every match. I’m a six-rotation player who takes pride in powerful attacks, consistent serve receives, and a disciplined approach to defense. I’m constantly working to refine my vertical, timing, and precision to compete at the highest level.
Coaches describe me as focused, coachable, and hardworking. I like to lead by example — staying positive, communicating on the court, and always giving my best effort. I enjoy competing under pressure and helping my teammates stay motivated and confident.
I attend The Hun School of Princeton, a challenging college-preparatory school where I was recruited to help build the newly formed girls’ varsity volleyball team. Academics are important to me, and I work hard to balance both school and sports. I’m currently taking AP Pre-Calculus, Honors Chemistry, and Honors American History, and I push myself to improve in and out of the classroom.
I value education and athletics equally, and my goal is to play Division I volleyball at a school that challenges me academically while allowing me to compete at the highest level.
