Julien McCrory has been “all in” on soccer since age 5-6. Julien has been in the gifted programs at school since middle school. When not studying or practicing soccer, Julien spends his free time in the gym. Here is a snapshot of his soccer experience:
• Recruited by and joined Rush Union for 2025-2026 season.
• A center back on United Football Academy (UFA) 2024-2025. Plays for both SCCL and SAPL teams.
• Starter on Dunwoody High School JV soccer team.
• Selected for Olympic Development Program (ODP) 2023-24 season as a defender.
• Was a starter (defender/center back) on Rush Union’s SCCL team.
• Played for Chamblee High JV team (2023-2024).
• Two years of Clemson Tiger (Elite) Soccer camp (2022-2023). 2023 Player Evaluation: “Great size and strength. Great and tough defender. Smart with the ball. Takes players on well and cleans the game up.” – Coach Thomas, Clemson University.
• Defender of the year at Chamblee Middle School in 2023. Also earned “man of the match.” Started every game and typically played every minute of every game.
• Made the Atlanta United RDS team in 2022.
• As result of his performance at a Real Madrid camp was part of a small group selected to train with the Real Madrid coaches in Madrid.
• Was heavily recruited by Concorde in 2022 but chose to stay with his Rush Union team.
• Has played competitively since age 6.
