My name is Kam Hingerty, and I’m attending this camp as the next step in my goal of playing college soccer. I’ve played the game since I was five years old, and I love it for its strategy, competitiveness, and the teamwork it demands. I’m a dedicated two sport athlete, on four teams that are two school teams and two club teams. I’m competing in both soccer and volleyball and being part of Kellam High School’s 2024–2025 6A State Championship volleyball team has taught me leadership, discipline, and how to excel under high pressure environments with all qualities I bring to the soccer field as well.
Academically, I take pride in pushing myself as well. I’ve earned three notable certifications and with a goal of earning more before graduation but the three I have are NRF (National Retail Federation) certification through my Sports Marketing class. CPR certification through P.E. FLC (Financial Literacy Certification) through my Economics and Personal Finance course.
Outside of school and sports, I’ve learned responsibility and time management by starting my own small lawn-care business, allowing me to earn money while balancing two sports.
A fun fact about me is that I stay active with my brother who is 14 years older than me. We workout together and spend a lot of time surfing or hanging out at the beach. He keeps me motivated and competitive, particularly in the offseason.
I look forward to share my athletic talent as a college recruit.
