My name is Maya Denham. I am a rising sophomore at Alameda High School. I play for 1974 Newark FC 2010 GA and Alameda High School Varsity.. My goal is to play soccer at a college that will push me to constantly improve both in soccer and academics. I am interested in STEM careers and am looking for a college that will help me pursue this. I am a very versatile player, and can make an impact pretty much anywhere on the field. I am the player that is always trying to find ways to do extra training to develop and will never settle for less. I also love playing futsal which helps me with my technical skills and playing quicker on the pitch. I was selected by the US Futsal Federation to represent the US on the U16 Women’s Futsal National Team. I write goals for myself for every training and game that I go to and evaluate my performance afterwards. I am hard working, a team player, and everyday I strive to make myself and the team better.
