Mitchell Destin is a 2030 student-athlete who attends First Baptist Academy (Homeschool Extension) and plays AAU basketball with Naples Youth Sports Academy – Thunder. He is an EXACT Sports X1 Athlete, recognized for his leadership, work ethic, and performance on the court. Academically, Mitchell maintains strong grades while balancing advanced coursework and athletic commitments.
As a versatile combo guard, Mitchell is known for his elite on-ball defense, high basketball IQ, and ability to score at all three levels while creating plays for his teammates. His intensity, playmaking ability, and passion for continuous improvement make him a difference-maker every time he steps on the court.
Beyond sports, Mitchell is deeply involved in his community. He serves on his church’s AVL cameras team and has volunteered at nearly every food bank in Naples, giving back to families in need. He also teaches the “Toddler Tots” tennis program for kids ages 3–5, mentoring the next generation of athletes.
Off the court, Mitchell is a humble leader, dedicated teammate, and servant-hearted young man with a strong commitment to faith, family, and community.
