My name is Sophia Timbal, and I am a 2030. I am a dedicated soccer player, athlete, and student. I play for Laguna United FC G2011. I am on the SoCal PDP G2011 state team. I am well rounded and coachable. I play goalkeeper and occasionally midfield. I have been playing soccer for 8 years and have always loved the game. Growing up as a competitive soccer player, and working hard, has helped me to become the person that I am today, teaching me how to be a better teammate, athlete and overall person. I would love to go to a college where I can play soccer for a coach and program that has a positive culture, successful program, and teammates who share the same enthusiasm and commitment to this amazing sport. My goals for college are to do well on the team, and also do well with my academics. I believe I would be a great candidate for a collegiate soccer team because I am focused, disciplined, determined, and have a positive mindset. On the field, I am a goal blocker, playmaker, and leader. I would love to be considered for a collegiate soccer program and would be very honored to meet coaches and attend camps with coaches who feel my skills would be a match. Thank you!
