Whitney Laue is a dynamic and driven volleyball player who brings energy, consistency, and leadership to every court she steps on. As a 5’4″ outside hitter and defensive specialist, Whitney combines exceptional court awareness with powerful playmaking ability. She played on both the 7th and 8th grade volleyballteams for the South Beloit Sobos, where she helped lead the 7th grade team to an outstanding 14-2 record this school year.
Whitney also competes for Starz Volleyball Club out of Rockford, where her team captured two tournament championships this season. She is currently training with Starz in preparation for Nationals, continually pushing herself to compete at the highest level.
A remarkably accurate server, Whitney maintains an impressive 96% serve average. Her reliability on serve receive and aggressive approach at the net make her a key contributor in both the front and back rows.
Off the court, Whitney is a dedicated student with a perfect 4.0 GPA. She gives back to her school community by volunteering as a morning coach for the 5th and 6th grade volleyball team, inspiring younger players through mentorship and example. Whitney is also a member of her school choir, where she shares her love for music and performance.
