Ellie Payne, a 15-year-old setter from Eureka, Illinois, is making her mark both on the volleyball court and in the classroom. With a perfect 4.0 GPA and consistent high honor roll status since 5th grade, Ellie demonstrates her dedication to excellence in all areas of her life. Her drive and work ethic have already led to impressive achievements, including a standout performance at the AAU Nationals.
Rising Star in Volleyball
Ellie’s volleyball journey is filled with success and growth. Competing with her 15u team, she helped secure a 5th-place finish in the elite division at AAU Nationals, one of the most prestigious volleyball tournaments. On the first day of the tournament, her performance caught the eye of vballrecruiter, where she was recognized for her outstanding play. Ellie’s next step in her volleyball career will be attending the Red Hat Games in Dallas from December 20-22, a prime opportunity to showcase her skills on a national stage.
Academic Excellence and Future Aspirations
In addition to her athletic talent, Ellie is a stellar student. Her 4.0 GPA reflects her commitment to academics, and she balances her studies with her passion for volleyball. Ellie’s ultimate goal is to earn a scholarship to play volleyball in college, where she hopes to continue growing as an athlete and a student.

When she’s not on the volleyball court or studying, Ellie enjoys spending time baking sweet treats. She has taken multiple classes to perfect her baking skills, turning this fun hobby into a creative outlet that complements her competitive spirit.
