Over the years, Lauren has dedicated herself to mastering the art of goalkeeping. She has participated in multiple high-level training camps, including the USYNT ID Centers in 2022 and the GA Regional TID Camp in 2023 and 2024. Her impressive performances earned her a spot on the Great Oak High School Varsity Soccer team as a freshman, where she quickly made her mark and earned her Varsity Letter in Winter 2024.

While soccer is Lauren’s primary passion, she is also an accomplished student and a versatile athlete. She runs cross country and middle distance for Great Oak High School, where she was named Cross Country Freshman of the Year in Fall 2023 and Track & Field Freshman of the Year in Winter 2024, earning varsity letters in both sports. Her dedication to athletics is matched by her commitment to academics; she has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA since middle school, demonstrating her strong work ethic and discipline.

Lauren’s interests extend beyond sports and academics. She enjoys art, writing, poetry, and reading, and has a dream of one day working as a storyboard artist for Pixar. Her creative pursuits reflect her well-rounded character and her desire to explore diverse interests. “I am not, however, only a soccer player,” Lauren emphasizes. She plans to study Art and English while continuing her study of Spanish with the same enthusiasm and dedication she applies to her current studies. She seeks a college or university that will challenge her academically and athletically, providing an environment where she can grow and excel in both areas. “The expectation that both my professors and my coaches will challenge and support me through my training and studies, through open communication, is essential,” she explains.

Lauren’s goal is to be the first-choice goalkeeper for her team and to continue improving her skills. She dreams of playing professionally one day, but she also has a backup plan that aligns with her creative passion: working for Pixar as a storyboard artist.

For Lauren, soccer is more than just a sport; it is a passion that has provided her with purpose and fulfillment. “I love the beautiful game of soccer because it’s always been there as a place to come and clear my head and give me a purpose in life,” she shares.
