A Lifelong Love for Softball
Ruthie’s journey in softball began at a young age when the game was all about having fun with friends. It quickly became her favorite thing to do, and she was always practicing when not playing games. “Softball is what made me and my twin sister so close. We loved playing softball together,” Ruthie reflects. Today, softball remains her passion, and she loves the excitement of the game and the camaraderie it creates. The energy her team brings on the field motivates her, and she’s constantly pushing herself to improve.
A Role Model Both On and Off the Field
While Ruthie’s love for the game is clear, her dedication extends beyond the field. She’s committed to being a role model for younger athletes, showing them that it’s possible to excel both in sports and in the classroom. “I hope that I inspire the younger grades to know they can do anything they put their all into,” she says. Ruthie leads by example, proving that maintaining A’s in school while excelling in sports is achievable with hard work and determination.

Ruthie credits her mom’s hard work and dedication as the foundation for her success in both softball and life.
